What date should I RSVP by?
Please RSVP no later than November 10th. If you have any changes to your RSVP, please contact us immediately at WinterSoulstice2024@gmail.com.
Am I allowed to take photos during the wedding ceremony?
The simple answer is no. The wedding ceremony is “unplugged”, meaning no photos and no phones. We want guests to enjoy the ceremony and ask that everyone can remain present as we say “I do!” We have hired photographers and videographers to capture every single moment, and we promise to share these with everyone. We know it’s hard to resist taking photos, but we appreciate your respect on the matter.
What is the address of the venue? Will there be parking?
The Transept’s address is: 1205 Elm St, Cincinnati, OH 45202. Parking is available to the public along the side streets as well as in the garages at Washington Square Park. Please note that the city does charge for parking. Therefore, if you’re staying downtown, we recommend taking the free streetcar (called “The Connector”) or calling an Uber/Lyft. The Connector operates along a 3.6-mile loop connecting the downtown area and Over-the-Rhine (where the Transept is located).
What is the dress code?
Cocktail Attire is our preference, as it's a balance between elegant and comfort! Floor-length dresses are not required. Instead, women can opt for a midi length dress or an elegant pant suit. For men, this can simply be a suit jacket with nice slacks (tie optional); tuxedos are not required.
Is the venue ADA compliant?
Yes, the Transept is ADA-compliant. Ramps and an elevator are accessible to all guests. If there are any other accommodations that need to be made, please reach out to us at WinterSoulstice2024@gmail.com.
Is there a hotel block?
We have reserved a block of rooms at 21c in the Central Business District of downtown Cincinnati. If you’re interested in reserving a room in the block, please visit the page titled “HOTELS”.
This hotel is conveniently located along the route of The Connector, a tram/streetcar servicing downtown and the Over the Rhine area (wedding venue also located along this route). 21C is closest to the Aronoff Center stop (#17), The Transept is closest to 14th & Elm stop (#8).
